This formed stainless profile is embedded within a mortar-bed tile or stone installation. Its geometry allows horizontal movement while the metal sides protect the adjoining finish edges. Unlike a paired profile with a soft center insert, the selected construction relies on its all-metal section. Perforations provide a mechanical connection to the surrounding mortar when the joint is correctly embedded.

Consider for supported industrial tile floors, food-plant access routes and clean utility areas maintained with floor-cleaning machines. The joint layout should follow the floor's movement design, and the section must be fully supported so that wheels do not repeatedly strike an unsupported edge.
