Product Introduction

This nuclear model keeps the rugged Type 304 stainless enclosure and qualified microglass pack but uses a continuous silicone-gel channel instead of a face gasket. The gel interface is useful where the containment frame provides a mating blade and where controlled extraction may be needed during BIBO service. Trough location is available on either airflow face, so orientation must be frozen before manufacturing.

Key Features

Positive blade engagement

A continuous gel channel surrounds the airflow opening and accepts the housing knife edge without broad gasket compression.

Containment-change compatibility

Optional extraction clips can support filter removal from bag-in/bag-out housings designed for the selected cell.

Protected stainless assembly

Stainless guards on both faces shield the qualified pack while preserving a robust frame for controlled handling.

Applications

Used in nuclear or hazardous containment banks whose approved housing is built around a gel trough and mating knife edge. It is especially relevant where changeout equipment needs extraction clips, but system containment depends on the complete housing and procedure.

Solutions for Your Application

The gel trough is on the opposite face from the housing blade.State upstream or downstream gel location on the order and compare it with the bank airflow drawing before fabrication.
A gel-seal nuclear cell cannot be withdrawn cleanly by the installed BIBO mechanism.Include the housing model and required extraction-clip geometry in the technical review instead of adding improvised handles on site.

Available Options

Define AG-1 size, airflow capacity, gel side, gel-channel construction, extraction clips, guard arrangement and packaging controls.
