Positive blade engagement
A continuous gel channel surrounds the airflow opening and accepts the housing knife edge without broad gasket compression.
This nuclear model keeps the rugged Type 304 stainless enclosure and qualified microglass pack but uses a continuous silicone-gel channel instead of a face gasket. The gel interface is useful where the containment frame provides a mating blade and where controlled extraction may be needed during BIBO service. Trough location is available on either airflow face, so orientation must be frozen before manufacturing.

Optional extraction clips can support filter removal from bag-in/bag-out housings designed for the selected cell.
Stainless guards on both faces shield the qualified pack while preserving a robust frame for controlled handling.

Used in nuclear or hazardous containment banks whose approved housing is built around a gel trough and mating knife edge. It is especially relevant where changeout equipment needs extraction clips, but system containment depends on the complete housing and procedure.
