Fire-Resistant Cleanroom Vision Panel Intumescent Multi-Chamber

A multi-chamber vision-glass build with transparent intumescent layers between toughened sheets.
  • Sealed intumescent chambers form the heat-responsive part of the glazing.
  • Transparent interlayers preserve ordinary observation before heat activation.
  • Multiple toughened sheets provide a distinct layered edge construction.

Product Introduction

This glazing architecture combines toughened safety-glass sheets with sealed chambers containing transparent intumescent material. Under fire exposure, the interlayers expand into an opaque insulating foam. The layered build differs physically from a central fire-glass pane enclosed between separate protective outer panes. Thickness varies with the selected chamber arrangement, within the published 16–54 mm family range. The glazing is intended for integration into a compatible framed observation assembly at a fire-separating cleanroom wall.

Key Features

  • Sealed intumescent chambers form the heat-responsive part of the glazing.
  • Transparent interlayers preserve ordinary observation before heat activation.
  • Multiple toughened sheets provide a distinct layered edge construction.

Applications

  • Framed observation glazing in fire-separated clean manufacturing walls
  • Laboratory partition vision panels using intumescent glass construction

Solutions for Your Application

The wall design requires heat-responsive insulating glazing rather than ordinary clear glass.

Use a chambered build with intumescent layers that foam during fire exposure.

The selected layered glass must fit the frame's glazing pocket.

Match the chamber build and overall thickness to the compatible framed assembly.

Available Options

  • Chamber-build thickness selection
  • Custom glass footprint
