About This Product

The SMOOTH-2MM model combines a bonded epoxy primer with a self-smoothing wearing course. Fine quartz is dispersed within the resin rather than scattered across the exposed face, giving the cured floor a continuous gloss appearance. Its shallow build suits sound concrete that already has the required falls and flatness. This is the straightforward smooth version for clean industrial traffic, with no resilient cushion or decorative aggregate surface.

The filled resin closes the exposed concrete surface, reducing places where routine tracked dirt can collect between cleaning cycles.

Controlled application depth

A notched trowel or pin rake spreads the mix, followed by a spiked roller to release entrapped air before cure.

The thin bonded overlay preserves existing room levels when substrate defects are repaired before the topping is placed.

Applications

Suitable for dry assembly rooms, pharmaceutical support areas and enclosed material corridors. Choose this version when cleaning access and rolling movement matter more than a coarse traction profile. Existing movement joints should continue through the finish so the topping is not asked to restrain slab movement.

Solutions for Your Application

Small holes in the slab may leave visible pinholes in the new finish.

Fill exposed voids and establish a continuous primer before placing the smooth topping.

The purchaser needs a cleanable floor without raising thresholds substantially.

Use the nominal 2 mm build and detail each doorway against the measured adjoining floor level.

Available Options

Specify a practical solid colour, matching cove treatment and transition detail. For persistently wet routes, request a separately selected traction system instead of changing this smooth model during installation.
