Product Introduction

The medium upblast fan provides 581-2037 CFM with a 1/2 hp variable-speed motor while retaining a 19 x 19 in curb cap. Its larger wheel and motor section give nearly twice the maximum airflow of the compact model without increasing the curb footprint. Speed control supports pressure or airflow balancing, but the selected control range must keep the motor and wheel within their approved operating envelope.

Key Features

Medium roof-exhaust capacity

The larger direct-drive assembly supports laboratory and clean manufacturing exhaust branches.

Variable airflow control

Motor speed can be adjusted to maintain the required exhaust or room-pressure setpoint.

Shared compact curb size

Higher airflow is achieved while retaining the same nominal curb cap as the smaller fan.

Applications

For medium clean manufacturing, laboratory and healthcare roof exhaust where variable airflow supports room-pressure control.

Solutions for Your Application

Reducing speed too far allows backflow or loses required negative room pressure.Set a validated minimum speed and use airflow or pressure feedback with alarm limits.
The existing 19 in curb cannot carry the larger fan's weight or wind load.Verify curb structure and anchorage for the selected unit and local roof conditions.

Available Options

Specify duty point, electrical supply, control signal, curb, damper, disconnect, coating, access, wind rating and monitoring.
