The rubber pad provides the cushioning mechanism and helps reduce footfall transmission through the floor construction.
AP80 adds a bonded rubber shock pad beneath the polyurethane wearing system. Adhesive fixes the pad to the base, pore filler closes its open surface, and a pigmented polyurethane body and topcoat form the cleanable face. The approximately 8 mm construction is substantially deeper than directly bonded comfort coatings. Its layered edge reveals the resilient support that distinguishes this model.

Suitable for quiet laboratory observation areas, healthcare corridors and clean personnel rooms with prolonged occupancy. Evaluate wheel loads and stationary furniture feet carefully: a cushioned floor needs different loading consideration from a rigid epoxy screed. Door clearances must accommodate the deeper assembly.

Plan a supported transition and check clearance against the complete assembly before installation.
Specify colour, cove treatment and adjoining-floor transitions. Use the nominal 5 mm pad construction consistently; changing pad thickness also changes the system height and underfoot response.
