Two full-size filters are arranged side by side to increase face area without creating an upper service tier. Each cell uses a housing knife edge that enters the filter gel channel, and each access opening carries its own change bag so one filter can be handled without sharing a contaminated service enclosure with the adjacent cell.

An external locking arm drives each knife edge uniformly into the perimeter gel channel.
