This nominal 12 x 24 x 12 in cassette uses a 3 in packed bed and a full cubic foot of engineered permanganate-impregnated media. The deep bed favors contaminant capacity and contact time over minimal resistance, making the module appropriate for purpose-designed molecular-filter sections rather than shallow retrofits. It can address selected corrosive and odorous gases, but the final media blend must match the measured gas mixture and operating humidity.

The deep granular bed adds more resistance than a shallow retrofit rack can tolerate.Review the fan curve and use sufficient parallel face area; choose the low-drop 152 mm-high module when static pressure is the primary constraint.
A single oxidizing medium does not cover every compound in a mixed-gas stream.Use site sampling to select a permanganate and adsorbent blend matched to the identified acids, sulfur gases or VOCs.
