The deep granular bed adds more resistance than a shallow retrofit rack can tolerate.Review the fan curve and use sufficient parallel face area; choose the low-drop 152 mm-high module when static pressure is the primary constraint.
A single oxidizing medium does not cover every compound in a mixed-gas stream.Use site sampling to select a permanganate and adsorbent blend matched to the identified acids, sulfur gases or VOCs.
