The 2 x 2 ft model is the smallest accepted footprint in this hazardous-location FFU family. Its 23.72 x 23.63 x 19.86 in stainless housing uses top-side ULPA access and a non-sparking motor in a cast-iron explosion-proof enclosure. The unit is organized around the manufacturer's NEC Class I/Class II, Division 1 family construction; suitability for a specific classified area still depends on the complete ordered configuration and site requirements.

Applications

Intended for compact hazardous dispensing enclosures, solvent-handling clean zones and small classified ceiling bays requiring filtered positive-pressure supply. The area classification, wiring method, seals and complete equipment assembly must be evaluated together for the actual site.

A standard cleanroom FFU does not address the electrical hazards of the classified area.Use a configuration based on the cited hazardous-location family and have the complete installed system evaluated for the specific area classification.

Room-side filter access could disrupt the small controlled enclosure.Reserve a safe top-side service route for ULPA replacement and motor access.

Confirm the classified-area basis, voltage, wiring and isolator arrangement, ULPA seal, stainless finish and ceiling connection. Do not select the module independently from the complete hazardous-location installation.
