This floor-standing fan filter unit combines a fan-and-filter cabinet with a coated steel support frame. The cabinet is held above floor level, with a perforated guard in front of the filter and a separate fan chamber behind it. Leveling feet support the assembly at its installed location. The freestanding format provides a horizontal air source alongside a bench or machine without using a suspended ceiling grid to carry the unit.

Choose these construction details with the supplied unit. A reverse-flow extraction configuration is a different airflow function, not an automatic feature of this positive-supply module.
Selection and Installation
Set the working envelope
Describe the exposed component, bench height, conveyor opening and handling direction. Measure the available floor footprint as well as the distance from the outlet to the operation. A larger discharge face does not automatically extend the useful clean-air zone by the same proportion.
Place the unit around the process
Keep the fan intake clear and arrange the workstation so hands, tools and large components do not block the air path upstream of the sensitive surface. Nearby doors, extraction points and supply diffusers can disturb the horizontal stream. Check airflow with the actual equipment and operator positions in place.
Compare the supplied operating configuration
Select the final-filter grade, fan and control arrangement together. Obtain delivered air volume, face-velocity distribution, available static pressure, electrical input and sound data at the same specified operating condition. Frame dimensions, weight, electrical supply and filter-removal clearance also belong in the purchase specification.
Choose fixed or movable support
Use the floor-standing version when the outlet normally serves one location. If the source must move between workstations, compare the mobile fan filter unit and its handling requirements. Secure and level the installed frame without obstructing cleaning access. This open supply arrangement does not provide hazardous-material containment or establish an ISO room classification.
