About This Product

PU-CAPPED-20 places a self-smoothing conductive epoxy body above a grounded conductive primer, then adds a water-based polyurethane ESD finish. The resulting 1.5-2.0 mm system is classified by its epoxy body but is not an all-epoxy construction. The functional topcoat establishes a matte exposed face and can be renewed independently when surface wear requires maintenance.

The polyurethane-finished construction offers resistance to UV exposure and yellowing, helping retain its appearance in interior areas receiving daylight.

Grounded layer sequence

Primer, earthing connections and conductive layers form a coordinated route for static charge rather than relying on surface colour or a loose accessory.

Reduced surface glare

A matte finish can be useful around inspection and assembly areas where a highly reflective floor is undesirable.

Applications

Suitable for electronics assembly, clean inspection and pharmaceutical support areas needing a matte ESD floor. The floor, footwear and cleaning products must work together: an insulating maintenance coating can interrupt the intended contact path even when the original resin layers remain intact.
