Retrofit-focused construction
The thin wearing coat can add the selected static-control surface without installing a multi-millimetre self-leveling body.
TC05 is a three-component high-solids epoxy containing conductive powder. The topcoat is applied at approximately 0.38-0.51 mm, corresponding to 15-20 mils, above a compatible electrically insulating epoxy layer. This arrangement differs from a self-leveling conductive screed over conductive primer. It provides a thin exposed dissipative surface when the underlying floor can be retained within a compatible coating system.
The thin wearing coat can add the selected static-control surface without installing a multi-millimetre self-leveling body.
The insulating epoxy layer is a specified part of the build, so the system should not be assembled by copying a conductive-primer design.
Careful mixing distributes the functional powder throughout the topcoat, avoiding local areas with different material composition.

Useful for static-control refurbishment in light manufacturing, pharmaceutical support and educational laboratory facilities. The existing floor needs sufficient integrity for overcoating. Adhesion, compatibility and the chosen electrical arrangement should be considered before retaining an older resin surface.
Prepare the compatible retained system and add the specified dissipative topcoat construction.
Follow this model's insulating build-coat architecture rather than mixing components from another system.
Choose colour and compatible base-coat preparation. Match floor-cleaning products to the finished dissipative surface and retain the specified topcoat thickness during any future refurbishment.
