Rotor diameter, fan and reactivation hardware are physically sized for the low airflow instead of being oversized components at minimum speed.
The smallest documented HCD physical module uses a compact desiccant rotor, process fan and separate reactivation section rather than reducing a larger machine by fan speed alone. It supplies dry process air for small battery-material, pharmaceutical or moisture-sensitive storage rooms.

Desiccant adsorption supports lower supply-air dew points than cooling-only dehumidification in dry-room service.
Gas, steam or electric input can regenerate the rotor according to available site utilities.
