Product Introduction

This compact direct-injection humidifier uses a 1/2 in NPT steam inlet and the smallest body cross-section in the selected series. Stainless wetted parts and manifold lengths from 0.30 to 3.66 m allow the assembly to fit small clean AHU ducts. Because steam comes from the plant system rather than an integral boiler, separator, trap, condensate drainage and control-valve sizing determine whether the discharge remains dry.

For small cleanroom air handlers and supply ducts where dry conditioned plant steam is available near the unit.

Solutions for Your Application

Wet plant steam spits condensate from the small dispersion manifold.Provide correct separator, trap, supply pitch and drainage before the control valve and manifold.

The 1/2 in valve cannot deliver the peak humidity load at available steam pressure.Size the inlet and valve from actual mass flow and pressure drop, then choose a larger body where required.
