About This Product

The EC30 configuration surrounds a calcium-sulphate core with galvanized steel before the HPL face is applied. Unlike a panel protected only by a bottom sheet and PVC edge band, the metal enclosure continues around the perimeter. The 600 mm module is intended for technical interiors where panels are repeatedly lifted and the edges face handling wear during service work.

Continuous edge protection

The steel enclosure protects the core around the perimeter, providing a different handling surface from separately bonded plastic edge strips on conventional mineral-core modules.

Protected layered assembly

The laminate is applied above the metal-enclosed panel. This makes the enclosure part of the panel construction rather than a decorative trim around the HPL alone.

Repeatable service access

Modular panels permit local opening of the floor void. Correct lifting and refitting preserve the enclosure and keep adjacent modules seated on their supporting structure.

Applications

Suitable for technical clean areas, equipment control rooms and service-intensive interiors where mineral-core flooring is preferred. Assess the supporting structure and local loads separately from the edge-protection benefit. Any service opening interrupts the enclosure and needs an appropriate finished edge and support detail before the modified panel is used.

Solutions for Your Application

Plastic perimeter strips are repeatedly damaged during access work.

Select the steel-enclosed construction and use lifting practices that avoid scraping the laminate or deforming the metal edge.

A cut-out leaves an unprotected mineral core beside equipment cabling.

Prepare the opening with a suitable lined edge and additional support where required, retaining clean service access without exposed friable material.

Available Options

Choose HPL colour, exact panel thickness and understructure height. Plan cable apertures and removable service modules in advance so the enclosure and supporting arrangement remain appropriate for each modified location.
