Supported sheet bending
The former fills the space behind the curved vinyl, helping the surface retain its shape during cleaning and normal use.
This arrangement uses a solid PVC former to support the vinyl as it turns from the horizontal floor to a vertical upstand. The floor covering therefore remains continuous through the curve, rather than meeting a separate skirting foot at floor level. A two-part PVCu transition finishes the top where the upstand meets wall sheet, and welded corners complete changes in direction.

Using the floor sheet through the radius avoids a separate longitudinal connection directly beside the wall at floor level.
The upper trim organizes the meeting point between the resilient floor upstand and the rigid wall covering.

Consider for wet hygienic rooms, wash areas and healthcare support spaces where vinyl flooring meets a washable wall-sheet system. The selected sheet must be suitable for forming and welding, and the wall and floor preparation should allow continuous adhesive support around the curve.
Install the solid former continuously so that the curved sheet has backing rather than an empty void.
Use the two-part transition and complete the seal at the upper connection.
Select the floor sheet, wall-sheet thickness and compatible transition components as one detail. Provide corner geometry and desired upstand height so that the welding layout can be planned before cutting the sheet.
