Knife-edge gel engagement
The housing edge enters the filter gel trough to form a continuous perimeter seal without relying on gasket compression.
This single-cell version substitutes positive gel-seal engagement for the gasket compression used by the companion housing. The welded cabinet is available in 304 or 316 stainless construction and supports bag-in/bag-out maintenance for critical exhaust service. Gel engagement can provide a repeatable knife-edge interface, but the selected filter trough, sealant and operating temperature must remain compatible throughout the service life.

Stainless material options suit aggressive washdown or process-exhaust environments better than painted carbon steel.
The side change system retains contaminants while the spent filter is transferred from the cabinet.
