This base configuration uses the interlocked active and passive valve halves without additional vacuum or interface extraction. It is intended for transfers whose risk assessment aligns with the manufacturer-listed down-to-1 µg/m³ tier, avoiding the added utility and cleaning demands of the extract-assisted versions.

Solutions for Your Application

The process needs containment but has no convenient extraction utility at the docking point.Use the standard mechanical tier when the documented exposure assessment supports operation without interface extraction.

Passive containers must not open unless fully connected to the process valve.Use the active-passive interlock so the combined disc opens only after correct docking.
