The gel-seal ePTFE model places a continuous fluid channel in the anodized aluminum perimeter. A housing knife edge enters the gel when the panel is raised into a bottom-load terminal, while the supported membrane provides H14 efficiency, low outgassing and high tensile strength. This arrangement is distinct from the gasket model because sealing depends on knife-edge immersion rather than clamp compression.

The bottom-load format allows filter changeout without opening a common plenum above the room.

Selected for aseptic pharmaceutical terminals, biotechnology rooms and controlled filling areas with a housing knife edge and room-side access. It is useful when a fluid seal and durable membrane media are both required, provided gel chemistry is compatible with the sanitation program.
