Cold-climate optimization
Circuit charge prioritizes heat transfer from winter exhaust to cold outdoor supply air.
This unit uses a side-by-side Z-circuit whose charge and internal geometry favor winter heating recovery while retaining some cooling-season transfer. Half-inch copper tubes sit in a minimum 16-gauge galvanized or stainless frame. The physical circuit differs from the equal bidirectional model and should be oriented for its intended dominant heat-flow direction; reversing the installation can reduce the winter benefit it was selected to provide.

Working fluid circulates inside 1/2 in copper tubes without pumps.
Galvanized or stainless framing supports the two coil faces across the air-stream partition.
