Supported ePTFE media provides full ceiling coverage without introducing glass-fiber media into the filter pack.
The U16 610 mm panel combines a 35 mm supported ePTFE pack with a reverse gel-seal aluminum frame. It is the middle efficiency choice in the full-module gel family, offering lower penetration than U15 without applying the maximum U17 resistance. The reverse trough orientation must match the ceiling grid, and the boron-free medium should be protected as part of the site's elemental-contamination strategy.

U16 offers a practical intermediate step between lower-pressure U15 and highest-efficiency U17 operation.

Selected for advanced wafer fabrication, lithography support and precision optics ceilings that require U16 efficiency and a reverse gel interface. Installed airflow should be checked at the operating face velocity after the panel is seated and leak-tested.
