Introducción del producto

The U16 selection reduces allowable MPPS penetration by an order of magnitude compared with U15 while retaining the same supported 35 mm ePTFE architecture. Its nominal resistance rises moderately to 0.40 in. w.g. at 100 fpm, a tradeoff that should be included in ceiling fan sizing. Use it where the process target justifies U16 but the higher U17 pressure burden is unnecessary.

Applications

Intended for advanced semiconductor production, lithography support and precision mini-environments that specify U16 efficiency. The complete ceiling or tool module should be commissioned at the selected net face velocity and checked for seal engagement after replacement.

A U16 upgrade is selected without accounting for its added clean resistance.Use the 0.40 in. w.g. value at 100 fpm in the airflow model and confirm spare fan pressure before changing the grade.

Membrane damage occurs when installers press the filter face into the frame.Handle only by the aluminum perimeter and specify a faceguard where the installation path exposes the media.
