Integrated distribution layer
The backing contributes to lateral electrical continuity beneath the wearing body. Grounding connections must remain effective at room boundaries, columns and separate sheet areas.
This configuration separates its electrical pathway from a conventional plain vinyl construction by incorporating carbon-black chips and a conductive backing. The 2 mm sheet provides broad roll coverage while the backing distributes charge toward the designed earthing connections. Its reference installation permits an appropriate standard adhesive system; that detail does not remove the need for specified grounding points or whole-floor electrical testing.

Sheet installation suits large bays where a high number of tile edges would complicate cleaning routes and increase the number of exposed joints.
The treated surface supports daily cleaning without adding an insulating polish layer. Soil and inappropriate coatings can change the electrical contact experienced by footwear.

Use in electronics rooms, instrument laboratories and imaging support areas requiring a conductive sheet floor. The electrical system includes the floor, adhesive arrangement, earthing and any ESD footwear used by personnel. Keep maintenance staff informed about approved cleaners so a later coating does not interrupt the intended conductive path.
Retain the designed earthing arrangement and verify resistance after installation; the conductive backing only changes how the floor's path is formed.
Avoid insulating surface films and check the cleaned floor using the same electrical acceptance procedure used for the operating area.
Select roll colours, grounding layout and compatible seam treatment. Define electrical acceptance with the intended footwear and maintenance regime, especially where a floor area is separated by movement joints or doors.
