The 492 mm-wide model expands the compact carbon-bag format to four pockets and a 0.50 m3/s rated flow while retaining 300 mm pocket depth and 70 Pa initial resistance. It fits intermediate-width retrofit sections where a half module is too small and a full square element is not supported. Pocket inflation and contaminant loading should be checked during commissioning because molecular service life is not indicated by pressure drop alone.

The retrofit opening is neither a half module nor a full 594 mm square.Use the 492 mm four-pocket face after checking actual rack width, retaining clips and gasket contact.

Pockets rub against a downstream obstruction and lose usable media surface.Verify at least 300 mm of clear projection space plus service allowance and observe full pocket inflation at design flow.
