How can operators identify a loss of sealing air?
The control arrangement monitors incoming air and seal pressure rather than relying only on door position.
An inflatable elastomer seal runs around the complete door perimeter and expands against the closed blade when supplied with compressed air. Stainless construction forms the leaf and architrave, while dedicated controls monitor both seal pressure and the incoming supply. The frame-to-floor detail is kept flush for passage. This arrangement differs from a fixed compression gasket by actively applying and releasing seal contact as part of the door operating sequence.

A flush floor interface allows the inflatable gasket to form bottom contact after the blade is closed.
