Expanded latent surface
Two additional tube rows increase cold-surface contact for moisture removal.
The six-row DX construction increases published casing depth to 11 in and commonly uses 8-10 fins per inch. Additional tube surface and refrigerant circuits provide more total and latent capacity than the four-row core while retaining counterflow operation. It suits medium cleanroom air handlers that need deeper dehumidification without the full 13.5 in envelope and pressure burden of the eight-row model.
Two additional tube rows increase cold-surface contact for moisture removal.
More circuits divide refrigerant across the face for stable loading at medium capacity.
The 11 in casing sits between the compact and high-latent DX configurations.
