Grid-owned gel system
The filter blade penetrates gel retained in the ceiling grid, keeping the consumable panel free of a filled trough.
This terminal configuration reverses seal ownership: the filter carries an integral knife edge and the common-plenum grid holds the gel. The U16 ePTFE pack and approximately 109 mm frame depth suit advanced fab ceilings where repeatable blade geometry is already standardized. It must not be substituted for a filter-mounted gel trough, even though both systems use a fluid perimeter seal.
