The 18 in cubic chamber accepts common laboratory trays and small bins while remaining manageable within a wall-mounted format. Tempered safety-glass windows allow both operators to check occupancy before opening, and silicone bulb gaskets improve closure around the passive chamber. Mechanical interlocking avoids simultaneous door opening without adding an electrical control requirement.
