About This Product

This floor plate uses 316L stainless steel and a teardrop relief rather than the diamond pattern of the 304L version. The alloy includes molybdenum, making it a relevant material choice when evaluating chloride-bearing cleaning or process exposure. It is supplied as a solid patterned plate for supported fabrication, with the tread forming part of the rolled metal rather than a replaceable surface coating.

Key Features

Alloy selected for exposure

The molybdenum-bearing composition gives the purchaser a separate material option when routine 304 stainless is not appropriate for the cleaning environment.

Raised droplet profile

Teardrop projections create clear contact features while leaving the underlying plate visible for cleaning and inspection.

Substantial fabrication range

Available plate gauges cover different supported panel duties, allowing the thickness to follow the mechanical design.

Applications

Suitable for consideration around wet food processes, pharmaceutical wash areas and chemical-service platforms. Selection should account for chemical concentration, temperature and dwell time: even 316L can be damaged by aggressive acids or concentrated chloride deposits left on the surface.

Solutions for Your Application

The existing floor shows local corrosion near retained cleaning solution.

Evaluate 316L alongside improved drainage and rinsing so that alloy selection and residue removal address the exposure together.

Welding or cutting leaves rough areas beside the tread.

Finish fabricated edges and clean the affected stainless surfaces before the panel enters service.

Available Options

Provide panel outlines, support spacing and chemical exposure details. Cutouts, formed edges and attachment methods can be arranged without substituting another stainless grade or obscuring the teardrop walking face.
