Product Introduction

This U15 panel uses a supported, boron-free ePTFE membrane folded into a 35 mm mini-pleat pack. At 100 fpm net face velocity, its nominal 0.33 in. w.g. clean resistance is the lowest of the U15-U17 series, reducing fan demand where U15 is sufficient. The thin pack can be built into gasket, reverse-gel or knife-edge aluminum frames to suit the selected ceiling or tool interface.

Key Features

Lowest series resistance

The U15 grade starts at a nominal 0.33 in. w.g., preserving fan margin across large unidirectional-flow ceiling areas.

Supported membrane folds

Spunbond scrim protects both sides of the ePTFE layer, improving robustness at pleat bends compared with unsupported media.

Multiple sealing frames

The same 35 mm pack can be integrated into dry-gasket, reverse-gel or knife-edge aluminum perimeter designs.

Applications

Selected for semiconductor cleanrooms, mini-environments and equipment-level unidirectional flow where U15 efficiency satisfies the process target and low starting resistance has strong lifecycle value. The final frame and airflow must match the grid or tool rather than being inferred from the 35 mm pack alone.

Solutions for Your Application

The ULPA ceiling consumes too much fan pressure even when filters are clean.Use the U15 0.33 in. w.g. tier when the contamination assessment does not require U16 or U17, and size airflow from net face area.
The correct efficiency is supplied in the wrong perimeter geometry.State the receiving system's gasket, reverse-gel or knife-edge interface together with exact face dimensions and airflow direction.

Available Options

Choose face size, gasket location, reverse-gel or 0.75-inch knife edge, faceguard material, center divider and test-port provision.
