Product Introduction

This 610 x 152 x 457 mm chemisorption module is only 152 mm high and uses a shallow 25.4 mm packed bed. It contains 0.5 ft3 of the ammonia-specific engineered blend, half the media volume of the 305 mm-high capacity model, but limits pressure drop to 101 Pa at 2.54 m/s face velocity. The geometry suits narrow cassettes and higher-velocity retrofit tracks where fan static is scarce. Buyers should confirm that the lower media inventory still meets the required ammonia service interval.

Applications

For space-constrained recirculation, exhaust and retrofit cassettes requiring ammonia or restroom-odor control with limited fan static. Check the higher 2.54 m/s reference velocity and reduced media charge against the real concentration profile.

Solutions for Your Application

The existing fan cannot absorb the resistance of a three-inch gas-media bed.Use the 25.4 mm low-drop module and verify 101 Pa maximum resistance at the stated 2.54 m/s face velocity.
Reducing media volume could shorten ammonia protection below the maintenance interval.Calculate the expected chemical loading and add parallel face area or shorten the change schedule if 0.5 ft3 is insufficient.
