High-Seal Stainless Steel Pass Box
- Welded stainless transfer chamber
- Compression perimeter gaskets
- Monitored two-door interlock
- Coved internal corners
Product Introduction
The High-Seal Stainless Steel Pass Box provides a robust material-transfer enclosure where door sealing and cleanable construction are both important. Its welded stainless chamber, coved corners and compression-gasket door leaves form a smooth internal envelope, while a monitored interlock keeps the two sides from opening together. Latch adjustment and gasket replacement can be specified to support routine maintenance over the service life of the unit.
Key Features
Compression latches draw each door against its perimeter gasket.
Door-position indication shows which transfer side is in use.
Formed internal radii make wiping the chamber surfaces more direct.
Replaceable seals allow worn closure components to be renewed.
Solutions for Your Application
A gasketed transfer enclosure should be easy to close consistently, wipe thoroughly and maintain after repeated handling.

Technical Parameters
The specifications below are selectable common reference configurations for a gasketed stainless steel pass box, not measured performance for one fixed STjh model. The reference construction is a static chamber with compression seals and an electronic door interlock; material and finish upgrades are optional.
| Construction Material | AISI 304 stainless steel; AISI 316L stainless steel optional |
|---|---|
| Internal Chamber Size (W × D × H) | 500 × 500 × 500 mm or 600 × 600 × 600 mm |
| Chamber Construction | Continuously welded stainless steel enclosure |
| Door Seals | Continuous compressible perimeter gaskets |
| Door Closure | Manually operated compression-latch doors |
| Interlock | Electronic two-door interlock with door-status indication |
| Internal Corners | Radiused, coved liner |
| Surface Finish | Brushed stainless steel; electropolished finish optional |
| Installation | Through-wall mounting with perimeter frame or flanges |
| Customization | Available based on the intended application and operating environment. |

Selection and Installation
Choose the chamber around the largest packaged item, including room for hands to place and retrieve it without catching the door gasket. A compression seal needs a flat seating face, aligned hinges and correctly adjusted latches; these details matter more than the marketing term high-seal. Gasket material should suit the cleaning chemicals and service temperature.
Support the enclosure independently where the partition cannot carry its weight, and seal the wall-to-frame joint without obstructing door or service access. Check both door-status indications and the interlock sequence before use. Electronic controls require an electrical supply; voltage and loss-of-power operation should match the selected control package.
This configuration is for routine transfer of non-hazardous packaged materials. A specified air-leakage limit, hazardous-material containment duty or dry-room moisture limit needs a separately verified design. For supply batches that must remain organised on several levels, consider a pass-through storage cabinet.
