Molded FRP isolates the gas stream from conventional carbon-steel fan surfaces.
This 18 in fan uses a compact fiberglass-reinforced plastic housing and a single-thickness radial or backward-inclined wheel from the referenced family. It is sized for local corrosive exhaust rather than a central scrubber main, and the family temperature limit reaches 121 C only with compatible resin and components. Final resin, wheel form and shaft protection must be selected from the actual vapor chemistry and temperature.
