High-surface-area activated carbon is distributed through a pleatable nonwoven to create a compact molecular stage for general VOCs, odors and ozone. Published media families offer surface loading up to 400 g/m2, allowing carbon inventory to be selected without moving immediately to a loose-fill bed. This broad-spectrum grade is intended for mixed organic challenges; acid or base dominant streams require the separately impregnated media options.
