Independent door and shower settings
Curtain motion and the blow-off interval can be selected as separate parts of the handling sequence.
This cargo unit replaces broad swing leaves with vertical roll-up doors that clear the transfer opening without consuming aisle swing space. The curtain rolls into an overhead housing, while guide columns define the doorway edges. A separate fan-and-filter section supplies the nozzle banks, and return grilles lead air back to the filtration circuit. Enclosure modules, impact liners and floor transitions can be arranged around wheeled material handling rather than a personnel-only entrance.
Curtain motion and the blow-off interval can be selected as separate parts of the handling sequence.
A specified curtain and guide arrangement provides defined service parts at the repeatedly used entrance.
Side jets and an optional upper bank can be located to suit the height and exposed faces of the cargo.
Local switches, vehicle triggers and optional automation contacts can be selected without confusing entry requests with door protection.
Select the transfer arrangement around the load that actually moves through the doorway.
Suitable transfer tasks involve ordinary non-hazardous surface dust. Solvent vapours, combustible powders and exposed hazardous battery materials require a separately established handling concept.
These are common selectable construction and control references for roll-up-door cargo air showers, not the measured specification of one completed unit. Door-drive speed and blowing time describe different parts of the transfer sequence.

The normal arrangement combines two curtain doors, a recirculating fan/filter section, side jets and timed interlocking. Activation accessories, obstruction sensing, emergency operation and vehicle-control integration are specified as distinct functions rather than assumed from the door type.
Include packaging overhang, trolley handles, vehicle attachments and positioning tolerance when choosing the net door opening. Keep the chamber long enough for the complete load and any permitted operator position to clear the entrance before closure. The usable aperture is smaller than the overall enclosure; reserve additional height for the roller housing and space beside the chamber for filter and drive maintenance.
Opening speed is curtain travel in m/s, not pallets per hour. Throughput also includes approach, door closing, load positioning, the blowing interval, any recovery delay and exit. A controller capable of a zero-second setting does not make zero an effective cleaning cycle. Select the working timer around the actual load and contamination task rather than treating the full adjustment range as a removal result.
State the required response to blocked sensors, incomplete travel, loss of power and an emergency command. Opening triggers, position limits, obstruction detection and emergency release have different functions. A request button or AGV contact is not an obstruction-protection device. Define the chosen light curtain, photocell or monitored edge and the manual recovery arrangement with the complete control package; do not assume that an accessory alone makes the doorway safe.
Match the floor transition to wheel size, axle loading and cleaning needs, and keep return grilles clear of pallets and loose wrapping. Large wrapped loads can shield one another from the jets; choose nozzle positions around exposed surfaces. The air shower does not sterilise goods or remove contamination inside sealed packaging. For a simpler transfer enclosure without fast curtain doors, compare the cargo cleanroom air shower.
