Defined knife-edge immersion
The deep trough provides a controlled volume for the housing edge to enter without reaching the channel bottom.
The integral channel measures 0.500 x 0.543 in, or approximately 12.7 x 13.8 mm, and is formed in an anodized aluminum HEPA frame. Elastic polyurethane gel fills the trough and receives the housing knife edge to create a continuous fluid perimeter seal. The relatively deep channel is suited to V-bank and other high-capacity filters where positive knife-edge engagement must be maintained through normal installation tolerances.
