One blade spans the rectangular opening without intermediate blade joints.
External sleeve bearings allow service access from the duct exterior.

A double-skin rectangular blade spans a 2:1 opening and turns about its central horizontal axle. The flanged body provides a bolted interface for isolation sections where a louver-style damper would introduce several blade-edge joints.
