Polyurethane foam sealant is dispensed from a pressurized aerosol can as a moisture-reactive cellular material. It expands within irregular concealed voids, adheres to many common construction substrates and cures into a lightweight insulating fill that can be trimmed after hardening. In cleanroom work it is normally kept behind the exposed hygienic finish, with the accessible joint subsequently closed using a smooth compatible sealant or trim profile.

Dry or dusty substrates produce weak and uneven cure.Surfaces are cleaned and lightly conditioned with moisture where the selected product instructions permit.
