The defining requirement for this H14 model is its changeout interface, not simply its efficiency. A sealed stainless frame can be supplied with the gel or gasket arrangement and extraction features expected by a bag-in/bag-out housing, allowing the spent cell to be transferred into a barrier bag. Filter and housing must be treated as one containment system; a BIBO label cannot make an unmatched cell safe to remove.

Applications

Intended for biosafety, potent-compound pharmaceutical, radioactive or other hazardous exhaust trains where a validated BIBO housing and site procedure protect maintenance personnel. Hazard characterization, decontamination and waste handling remain facility responsibilities beyond the filter element.

Solutions for Your Application

A standard H14 cell lacks the features needed to withdraw it inside the change bag.Specify the housing make, seal interface, extraction direction and required clips so the filter can be manipulated by the installed safe-change mechanism.

The replacement cell could be rotated so its gasket or gel faces the wrong side.Mark airflow and seal orientation clearly, then verify them against the housing procedure before the old barrier is opened.
