The receiver knife edge enters the continuous gel path to form a seal around the complete filter perimeter.
This approximately 610 mm square H14 ePTFE panel adds a filled gel trough to the low-resistance membrane construction. The fluid seal accommodates a mating knife edge in bottom-load or room-side replaceable terminals, helping control bypass without relying on gasket compression. It is intended for life-science rooms where terminal access and repeated cleaning make seal geometry a central selection issue.

Room-side changeout can keep service activity out of the congested interstitial space when the housing is designed for it.

Used in aseptic filling, sterile pharmaceutical and biotechnology terminals where a room-side replaceable gel seal is preferred. The gel chemistry, knife-edge position and cleaning-agent compatibility must all match the receiving terminal.
