The springless operator places an electromechanical drive inside a low-profile overhead housing. An external arm transfers motion to the leaf in a push or pull arrangement. Omitting the conventional return spring changes the drive construction and the way the door is controlled through its travel. The unit is intended for interior automatic swing-door applications and is supplied as operator hardware for integration with a suitable leaf, activation devices and door controls.
