Its automatic mechanism lowers an elastomeric sealing element when the door closes and withdraws it during opening. The accessible carrier allows installation without the deep internal groove required by a fully mortised unit. Independent levelling adjustment helps the seal follow the threshold, making this arrangement useful when an existing door needs a practical bottom-gap upgrade.
