The 40 mm leaf is molded in glass-reinforced polyester around a PIR foam core. Its smooth gelcoat forms the visible surface, continuing around the blade without applied edge lippings. The selected version is opaque and supported in a molded GRP surround. Conventional stainless hinges provide single-action manual movement. This configuration suits washable interiors where an uninterrupted door face and a nonmetallic frame are preferred over metal-sheet or laminate assemblies.
