Microwave electronics operate behind the cover, and the mounting gasket sits between the unit and its supporting surface. The sensing distance can be adjusted to suit the approach position. Pulse and toggle modes provide alternative command behaviour, allowing the same activation hardware to serve different compatible automatic-door control arrangements.
