Two cylindrical parts fit into drilled recesses in the leaf and frame, keeping the sensing hardware largely hidden when the door is shut. Magnetic biasing makes the switch more selective than a basic unbiassed contact, and a separate tamper loop supports enclosure or wiring supervision in the connected system. The compact sensing gap calls for stable alignment between the two parts. This model is intended for prepared door assemblies where a concealed installation is preferred.
