Product Introduction

A positive-pressure pass box is a dynamic transfer hatch that combines a fan-assisted air circuit with a small enclosed loading chamber. In the selected arrangement, filtered make-up air supplements recirculation to establish an outward pressure bias when both doors are closed. The stainless-steel interior, viewing doors and overhead air-distribution panel provide a practical enclosure for trays, packaged components and other clean materials.

Key Features

A prefilter protects the final filter from larger airborne particles.

A perforated supply panel spreads air across the chamber rather than through a single nozzle.

Viewing panels let operators check the load without opening a door.

Door interlocking supports a load-close-unload handling sequence.

Smooth internal surfaces provide access for routine wipe-down cleaning.

Solutions for Your Application

The air circuit and loading method need to work together, particularly when transferring delicate or particle-sensitive components.

Room air can enter the chamber during loading.A filtered-air operating cycle provides an air-exchange step after the loading door closes; the required delay depends on the chosen chamber and load.
Containers block the airflow path when packed tightly.Select a chamber that leaves clearance beneath the diffuser and around the return openings.
A rising gauge reading is mistaken for better chamber protection.Use clearly identified measurement points so filter resistance is not confused with chamber-to-room pressure.
Sensitive parts also need protection from direct handling.Transfer them in suitable covered trays or clean packaging; filtered air does not replace the material-cleaning procedure.

Technical Parameters

The following are selectable common-reference configurations for this type of dynamic pass box, not a combined or tested STjh model specification. Positive pressure describes the intended closed-door operating arrangement; no fixed chamber pressure, recovery time or open-door protection level is stated.

Internal Chamber Sizes (W × D × H)600 × 600 × 600 mm or 750 × 750 × 750 mm reference choices
Supply FiltrationH14 HEPA filter; H13 available as an alternative filter configuration
PrefiltrationG4 prefilter
Airflow ArrangementRecirculating vertical airflow with make-up air
Air DistributionOverhead HEPA supply with a perforated diffuser
Door SystemTwo sealed viewing doors with electromagnetic interlocking
Pressure IndicationDifferential pressure gauge
Electrical Supply220 V AC, single-phase, 50 Hz; 60 Hz configuration available
CustomizationAvailable based on the intended application and operating environment.

Available Options

A typical reference package uses a stainless-steel chamber, prefilter, fan-assisted HEPA supply and interlocked viewing doors. Optional selections include 316 stainless steel, an alternative HEPA grade, digital pressure indication and an adjustable door-release delay. The pressure measurement arrangement and any alarm or pressure-linked release function are separate control selections, not assumed standard features.

Selection and Installation

Choose the usable chamber size around the complete tray or container, leaving the supply diffuser and return openings unobstructed. Keep service space available for the fan, prefilter and HEPA filter rather than sealing the service face into the partition.

Chamber-to-room pressure and pressure drop across a filter are different measurements. A filter gauge alone does not demonstrate a positive chamber pressure. The make-up air and discharge arrangement must suit the pressure relationship on both sides of the wall. This product is for clean, non-hazardous materials, not hazardous-material containment or sterilization.

For loads that must remain on a cart, consider the floor-standing cleanroom pass box instead of lifting the cart contents into a small chamber.
