The 270 mm PE configuration is positioned between disposable bags and heavy steam-sterilizable stainless canisters. Its reusable polymer body accepts medium-size components, and can be selected for gamma irradiation or H2O2 treatment when the payload and container materials suit that route.

The 250 mm opening supports tools and parts too large for small bags without moving to the 350 mm system.
