Distributed jet positions
Outlet panels extend beyond a compact chamber, allowing the selected active zones to follow the intended personnel route.
This air shower tunnel extends the personnel route through a series of nozzle-bearing enclosure sections. Return openings and accessible fan-filter compartments support recirculation along the selected cleaning length. Sectional construction can accommodate building access and different entrance footprints, with coated or stainless surfaces selected for the cleaning environment. A timed sequence coordinates the entry, active shower and exit stages for the intended group movement.

Transportable sections can suit access restrictions where bringing a complete long enclosure into the building is impractical.
Filter and fan access can be allocated along the tunnel instead of treating only the entrance end as a maintenance face.
Selected status indication distinguishes the entry, shower and exit stages for the agreed traffic sequence.
A personnel tunnel needs a repeatable group cycle as well as a workable installation footprint.
The following are common selectable references for extended personnel air showers. Tunnel geometry and control mode are selected together; these entries are not a fixed occupancy or continuous-throughput rating.
| Personnel Route | Extended straight-through passage with entrance and clean-side exit |
|---|---|
| Length Configuration | Sectional tunnel construction with selectable overall length and active jet zones |
| Nozzle Arrangement | Directional outlets distributed along opposing tunnel walls; ceiling outlets optional |
| Common Jet-Speed Option | 25 m/s-class nozzle-outlet configuration |
| Timed-Cycle Controller Option | 0–99 s adjustable shower timer for batch operation |
| Betriebsart | Controlled group-entry cycle with timed shower and exit release |
| Air Cleaning Circuit | Recirculating blower system with return-air prefilters and HEPA final filtration |
| Enclosure Choices | Coated steel, Type 304 stainless steel or a combined coated/stainless body |
| Common Supply Variant | 380 V AC, 50 Hz |
| Door and Status Control | Coordinated entrance and exit sequence with cycle indication; interlocked doors in the batch configuration |
| Customisierung | Verfügbar je nach beabsichtigter Anwendung und Betriebsumgebung. |
A usual door-controlled tunnel uses a timed shower sequence. Added outlets and alternative door mechanisms are separate selections. Module count, occupancy and arrival rate are not interchangeable capacity ratings, and tunnel format alone does not imply nonstop moving-personnel operation.
A tunnel describes an extended personnel route, not a promise of uninterrupted walking. In the timed-batch arrangement, the group enters, the doors are controlled during the shower, and the exit is released at the end of the selected sequence. Keep the doors in their intended operating state; holding them open does not convert this arrangement into a continuously moving system.
Record peak arrivals, permitted standing positions, entry and exit time, selected shower duration and any purge or wait delay. Allow room for the waiting group outside the door travel and service zones. More nozzle bays or a longer shell do not by themselves establish an occupancy limit, people per minute or zero waiting.
Check the outer footprint, clear passage and door openings separately, including section joints and fully open door projections. Plan how the largest enclosure section reaches the installation room, then reserve the filter-withdrawal and fan-maintenance faces along its length. The queue and adjacent equipment must not occupy those service clearances.
Choose the fan arrangement, nozzle zones, filter area and return locations together for the active length. A modular shell does not prove that every bay has an independent blower or identical outlet velocity. Compare electrical input and sound at the same airflow and filter condition, and specify normal entry, cycle completion, emergency release and power-loss behavior. For a holding-chamber arrangement rather than an extended route, compare the multi-person cleanroom air shower.
